Flickr: Easy Way to Add A Flickr Slide Show to Any Blog or Web Page

Everybody uses flickr. Now you can embed a flickr slide show into any web page. Code and instructions included.

Flickr rocks. You already have a ton of pictures there. Why not show your flickr photos as a slide show on your web site or blog? It is very easy.

The hardest part of the process is figuring out your flickr user id number.

I like Chicago Eye’s work so I have used him for an example. To figure out your user_id, just look in your RSS feed. Log onto flickr and scroll to the bottom of one of your picture pages. You should see something like the following:

Feeds for ChicagoEye’s photostream Available as RSS 2.0 and Atom
When you mouse over the RSS links on your page, you’ll be able to see your user id.

Replace user_id=70267247@N00 with your user id.

Here is the code:

<iframe align=center src=http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=27577801@N00&frameBorder=0 width=500 scrolling=no height=500></iframe>

Forever I have had a folder full of fun little flickr hacks. I decided to clean them out and share them. Please post more if you know.

Seeing MickeyMouse already shared my "surf" hack with you…

This is the flickr mobile portal that allows you to quickly search for photos from your graphics-able cell-phone or portable device.
